Sounds of the Forest

A short audio focused game made for BlindJam. Headphones are required.

This is an Alpha version their will be issues. Also had to rush it due to limited time available to work on it (Hence this bare bones page).

How to Play

• Follow the Guide. It plays a heartbeat when you're looking directly at it, and music otherwise.
• Stay on the Path. Listen carefully to the sound of your footsteps.
• Avoid the Invisible Creatures. Each make a unique sound, and are handled differently.
• Escape the Forest. The guide will lead you to the exit.

Consider playing with eyes closed or blind folded as the goal was to make it playable with audio only.

WASD: Movement
Mouse: Look

64bit Windows only.

Note the game is not yet fully blind accessible. While it can be played blind, the menu's lack an audio guide. If you are blind and wish to play, here is the procedure: On launching exe wait a few seconds for splash screen to end, press space to play (you should hear sound now). All sound will cease if you die or win (If a creature got close you died) press space to replay or escape to to return to menu. Press escape to exit from menu.
